Our team includes five skilled dentists and dental surgeons with advanced training in general dentistry, prosthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Prosthodontists in Englewood & Colorado Springs

Prosthodontists are dentists who complete an additional 3 to 4 years of advanced training focused on restoring and replacing teeth using dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, and dentures. In Denver, there are only about 10 prosthodontists, and only a few perform full-mouth reconstructions with dental implants. At Mile High Denture & Implant Centers, we’re proud to have two of them: Dr Ailar Baghardeai and Dr Ahmed Koheil. They both have extensive expertise in full mouth reconstruction, implant-retained fixed hybrid prosthodontics, removable prosthetics, and cosmetic dentistry, including dental crowns, bridges, and veneers.

DR. RYAN G. CABLE

DOCTOR OF DENTAL SURGERY

Dr Cable has been with Mile High Dental for over 20 years now. Over this time, he has performed thousands of implant procedures from simple to complex. By having all elements of dentistry within his abilities, he doesn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to your treatment.

Dr. Ryan Cable attended the University of Southern Indiana and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. After, he moved on and attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he was a top student who received the Dean’s Gold Award for outstanding achievement on national board examinations. Dr. Cable also performed and presented research at national dental conferences.

After graduation, Dr. Cable attended the University of Nevada School of Medicine Dental Residency Program. Here he learned multiple aspects of medicine and dentistry, including oral surgery, dental implants, periodontal and prosthetic surgery, prosthodontics, and intravenous sedation training.

Dr. Ryan Cable has a wife and two children, whom he loves spending time with in the mountains. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and playing guitar.

DR. AHMED KOHEIL

PROSTHODONTIST

Dr. Koheil is a Board Certified (Diplomate of the American College of Prosthodontists) prosthodontist. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists. He attended the University of Minnesota, where he completed the Advanced Graduate Program in Prosthodontics. He was also awarded a Master’s Degree and a Certificate in Technology-Enhanced Learning. Dr. Koheil was a full-time Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma for close to 5 years. He maintained private practices in Aurora and then in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Dr. Koheil is married and has two children and two dogs. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, biking, and snowboarding. He also enjoys martial arts and sculpting.

DR. MICHAEL ZACHAR

Dr. Zachar obtained his bachelor’s degree in science at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. He then continued his education at the University of Iowa, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

During his dental education, Dr. Zachar received the Academy of General Dentistry student of the year award, the Duane Schmidt practice management award, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry award.

Following his dental school training, Dr. Zachar completed a one-year AEGD residency at Sheppard AFB and obtained his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center and San Antonio Military Medical Center. He has been published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Atlas of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. In residency, he completed rotations in Anesthesia, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, General Surgery, Intensive Care Unit, and Trauma Surgery, among many other surgical specialties. Dr. Zachar was also trained extensively in dental extractions, dental and facial implants, trauma, orthognathic surgery, as well as cosmetic facial surgery.

DR. MICHAEL WOODBECK

ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON

Dr. Michael Woodbeck is a graduate of the University of Northern British Columbia and holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia. During his dental education, Dr. Woodbeck joined the Canadian Armed Forces, where he served as a general dentist. In that time, he received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal while serving in uniform as a general dentist and forensic odontologist in support of military operations worldwide.

After his time in the military, Dr. Woodbeck completed medical and advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery, receiving his degrees from UTHealth Houston. Dr. Woodbeck is board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery in the United States and Canada. He has an interest in implantology, facial trauma, and full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Outside of work, Dr. Woodbeck is interested in mountain biking, ultimate frisbee, hiking, snowboarding, and finding great food.

Dr. Zachar is an Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support instructor. Dr. Zachar has attended numerous specialty courses throughout the United States to continue to improve his skills. Dr. Zachar served on active duty in the United States Air Force from 2007-to 2017. He was stationed at Sheppard, Lackland and the United States Air Force Academy. He was separated as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Training Director at the United States Air Force Academy and Associate Professor of Oral Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS).
